About Us: ACIDE™ – A Flavour Revolution

At ACIDE™, we believe every meal deserves a bold, transformative touch. Our journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when founder Jon Bussell discovered the power of pickles. Initially creating a small range of pickles to complement his charcuterie business, Jon quickly realised their potential and made the bold decision to pivot entirely to pickling.

Our very first pickle—the zucchini bread and butter pickles—remains our best seller to this day. Starting with just 50kg batches made in a backyard, slicing zucchinis by hand, ACIDE™ has grown to produce over 500kg weekly. These sweet and sour pickles were created to complement charcuterie, but they’ve found their way into the hearts (and kitchens) of countless Australians.
